4th Annual Party For The Market @ Reading Terminal Market

On Saturday evening February 22nd, The Reading Terminal Market held it’s 4th Annual Party For The Market, benefitting the Reading Terminal MArket Preservation Trust, dedicated to the preserving of Reading Terminal Market for future generations. Close to 700 guests were in attendance for the event which fell on The Market’s 122nd birthday and  included two stages with live music, open bars, non-stop dancing, and food selections from nearly 40 of Reading Terminal’s delicious food vendors; including: Salumeria, Kamal’s Middle Eastern Specialties, Down Home Diner, Carmen’s Cheesesteaks & Hoagies, Flying Monkey Bakery, 12th Street Cantina, and Hatville Deli.

Guests were also treated to a special Celebrity Stack n’ Stuff Competition featuring Beilor’s donut stuffing machines. This year’s participants included Jennifer Lewis-Hall of Eye Opener Philly, Jim Donovan of CBS 3/The CW Philly, Dr Mike Cirigliano of Fox 29’s Good Day, Philadelphia District Attorney The Honorable Seth Williams, Philadelphia District Council(District 1) The Honorable Mark Squilla, and Deputy Mayor for Economic Development/Director of Commerce Alan Greenberger.

Live Music musical performances were presented courtesy of The Kabudi Project and Philadelphia Jazz vocalist Phyllis Chappel and The Ken Ulanesy Ensemble.
