Philly’s November Events To Look Out For

The Fall season is in full swing and the holiday season is fast approaching, and with that comes a host of engaging events and activities to look forward to. He are a few you may not want to miss during this month.

The 12th Annual First Person Arts Festival– November 6-16th at various locations. This year Poet Laureates Toni Morrison, Rita Dove and Sonia Sanchez will be at two of the festival’s events: The Laureate Dinner and Conversation & Song Walking The Laureate Road. DanceAfrica Philadelphia– November 8-9th at Drexel University. A two day festival celebrating African dance and culture featuring Philadelphia’s Kulu Mele African Drum & Dance Ensemble, Kariamu & Co., and Traditions Illstyle & Peace Productions. For more info see here

Party With The Surrealists– November 8th at The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Featuring DJ’s Broadzilla and Anthony Campuzano, enjoy “The Surrealists: Work From The Collection.” For more info see here

The 37th Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show– November 7-10th. Presented by The Women’s Committee of The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Enjoy arts and crafts from the best craft artists in the US.

Colder By Night Happy Hour & Arcade Tournament– November 13th at Field House. Presented by Flavorpill & Coors Light play arcade games all night for chances to win various prize giveaways. For more info see here
